I made a guitar strap out of an old seat belt

For all of you who want to sling their guitar lower than regular guitarstraps....just find an old car, cut out the seat belt, attach some strap locks (you can cut off the old leather tips of your old strap as well as the little buckle thing) and you have urself a strap that can go extra long

Another thought on the "seat belt" thing - it'd be an absolute bummer if inertia reel. Can't-lower-it-despite-several-pulls, then suddenly it snaps up and whacks you on the chin... :)

As for the "quick release" buckle, my Jim Reed bass came with a (gaudily logoed) strap that has a prongy "suitcase style" clasp. Brilliant - much preferable to lifting the whole thing over the head - ought to catch on, really.

Good one Bass

I dont hav any pics at the moment...it just looks like a regular strap...a lil dirty, and can get a lot longer basically haha
