| there are no salvagable parts from it, the neck has the heel broken, the body is smashe top sides and bottom, looks like Freddie the forklift driver did a real good job on this one. |

I thought we'd already linked to that one actually.
Yes, the bolt-on headstock is a bit of a worry. |

glw, that Hillbilly URB is brilliant, better (if I may disagree with Lee) than the acoustic.
The URB has a scale of "approx 31 inches" because someone scronked a guitar neck onto the plank and removed a couple of tuners. Trouble is, the frets will have been expecting a scale of about 25 inches. The thing must be totally unplayable, and at a starter of $299. Nice move on only making two of the neck bolts actually going through the body; the rest just in there for decoration. Excellent spot, I'd say. |

it's fretless, so very much 'playable'. |

You're right, it is described as fretless so those would be just lines then . Still wouldn't describe it as "very much playable", though . What a weird bridge and, of course, it'll sound about as upright as a Jeffrey Archer testimony. |

From what I could read (bit confusing, the text), it's just a Musicmaster neck (not, in themselves, particularly valuable) that a body was built around. Going for that Kurbain layout, but with a King Crimson twist on the bizarre graphic.
I think it's gone past its true value, but it might well float a boat or two (or else a couple of bidders think the body's genuine). |
