Former Weezer bassist Mikey Welsh who left the group in 2001 is no longer just a recording “artist,” he’s also been busy painting. I’m definitely no art critic, but according to a review Mikey lists on his web site from The Boston Globe, his artwork is “manic, edgy, and masculine…” I don’t quite know about masculine, but I’d sure hang it in my kitchen.
