Dear all,
I'm on the hunt for a new acoustic and like to think that I'm good enough to deserve a Martin this time. After extensive research online, the models I've got my eyes on at the moment are the 000M and the 0015. Do any of you have experience with these instruments that you would like to share?
Specific questions I have are:
- How does a Sitka Spruce top differ from a Mahogany one?
- How do laminated Mahogany sides and back differ from solid Mahogany ones?
- What effect does the slight size difference between the 00 and 000 have?
Answers to these and any other questions around these instruments or similar ones that can be recommended would be greatly appreciated!

dude, you don't have to be deserving to own a Martin....I own the Martin 000c 16rgte and I love it....as far as which model is better, who knows. But what I do know is that you really need to pick up and play several models within your budget...you'll know when you play the right one....remember, a good guitarist can make a inexpensive guitar sound really good...look at Estaban he does it.
