Hi I am new and have a question.

There was some time ago a post on this guitar, information of the builder where the LP were made columbus on the 80s? And that material (wood) was in use in the les paul copy?

Thank you

Columbus was one of the lower-quality Japanese makers at the time. Although some people try to get a good price by listing them as "70s Japanese lawsuit!!!" and suchlike, they're actually less pleasant than copies made today in China. It is very likely that the wood will be plywood. If you undo one of the plastic cavity covers around the back, you could well see the tell-tale signs of plywood.

salvage the dimarzios, the rest is skip fodder.
The pickups are probably worth £30+ each.
