So what happened to that INXS search for a rock star TV contest? The one where some average Joe with hopefully above-average talent will become the new lead singer of INXS. Well it looks like it will premiere July 11.
Here's what TV networks site has to say about it:
Each week, the show will feature a LIVE performance competition that will eliminate one contestant, as determined by a combination of viewer participation, judges and INXS band members. The last contestant standing joins INXS on a worldwide concert tour and in production of a new album.
The series, which will be broadcast for two hours a week, will also focus on the relationships and interaction between the contestants as they live together in a Hollywood Hills home.
