I have purchased an old six string accoustic at a yard sale. There is no brand name on this guitar. Any way to track brand/maker by the model number inside? I don't know a lot about guitars...just learning how to play.
The model # is KDG70. Below that is the number 251175.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Sounds like a 'Kay' guitar, nothing much to write home about, mostly mass produced 70's japanese imports, cost?? about $50-$150, ive seen a KDG-60 and you can see some info on it here.
