Hi Guys,
This is my first post. I tried to search and couldn't come up with anything, so here goes.
I recently went home to my parents house in Philadelphia and brought back with me my 1984 Standard Fender Stratocaster. This was right before CBS sold out and I think this model was only made for a few years. (The strat has a pickup jack instead of a knob leaving only a master tone and volume knob, and a floating knife edge tremolo.) It is in mint condition, cream with a rosewood fingerboard. I was thinking of selling it but I wanted to know if this is worth anything in terms of collector value. Do any of you guys have any idea if it is worth more than the $500 I paid for it in 1984? |

What a pity it's not one of the bowling ball Strats of that same era. Now that WOULD be worth something!
I have no idea what it's worth. Why don't you ask the good people at http://www.stratcollector.com/? |

Hi Mike,
According to the 2005 Vintage Guitar Price Guide the 83-84 2 knob Strats are valued between $700-$900 USD. SB |
