I am selling a Sigma Guitar, Model DM1, that was given to me years ago. THe problem is I have no clue if it is worth $1 or $1,000,000, ha.. Anyone have any idea?
Thanks! :D |

| Sigma (by Martin) is a bit like Squier (by Fender) or Epiphone (by Gibson). The 'value' end of a well-known make. The DM1 can still be bought new for ca US$250, so this should give you an idea on the value of yours, depending on its condition. Hope this helps. |

| You're welcome. Another way of getting a 'street' price is to go to eBay, search "Sigma DM1" and click on the "completed listings" button. Hopefully, this will tell you what they have sold for recently. |

went to ebay, so many guitars, so confusing. Mine is a model that was made in Korea and then i believe finished in the US. Not sure though. I sent an email to Martin Guitars so we will see if they even respond.
Thanks again. |

It's not exactly the same model, but you could watch this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VERY-NICE-SIGMA-6-STRING-ACOUSTIC-GUITAR-W-CASE-DM2_W0QQitemZ7354439344QQcategoryZ2385QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and see what happens. It's a pawnshop, so the selling price may be low. Most people would prefer to bid from a complete stranger than a pawnshop (a stranger may be dodgy, but a pawnshop...) |

| If I can get the necessary air miles, I'd prefer the beer to the 10p :) |
