i love the song they did where there were 3 people playing bass, all plodding along except the bass player, who had a double neck bass, but both necks were exactly the same.

I thought it was a 4+8 doubleneck.
If I remember rightly it was one of these BC Rich lads, whereby the necks LOOK the same at first sight, but one is carrying 8 strings, the octave strings having machine heads at the body end.

didnt Noel Redding used to play an 8 string? oh and have i mentioned i met him? shook his hand and got an autograph?? oh well. |
