I though the first was Michael McKean from Spinal Tap for a second.

We've been discussing the Chapman around the office lately. No one plays it, but after watching those videos, I have to admit it has a very soothing sound.

YouTube had many King Crimson appearances, often with Tony Levin playing Stick, but a lot have been pulled (presumably, copyright). Dave (Rocklogikxx) used to post here and, IIRC, was capable of demonstrating the Stick to potential buyers. Pity he's gone quiet; I miss his ops (and knowledge of KC).

I think you have to both a left brain and right brain kind of person to be able to play the Chapman Stick. I guess it would be like playing the piano but with strings. Those folks a very talented, I envy them!
