I have bought several Michael Kelly guitars lately. Its been NGD for Ralphie for a couple weeks. I bought them on ebay cheap to flip them for a profit, but after receiving them I just cant sell them. They are awedome guitars for the money. I am just thoroughly amazed!

If it's the same make, I've seen the acoustic basses on eBay and like the look. They do lefty 5-strings, both fretted and fretless without any big markup to punish the left-hooker. I've recently bought a dirt cheap lefty fretless 5-string of another make but, if I get into it, I'd consider upgrading to the Kelly.
Sticking with Korean, I know of so many players Stateside who are buying SX guitars from Rondo music. After a quick pup upgrade, they make very handy instruments. Made in Korea is not a turnoff any more. |
