Greetly everybod,

http://www.stringstation.com/index.html

this link is to a chap that has designed (cleverly cobbled together) a load of guitars that make up an entire singular instrument with a total of forty strings. I noticed that there is a Chapman Stick in there too.... plus a Roland VG8.

Checking over the Stick and surveying the bridge end of the instrument I realised that it is in fact..... left handed!! Hurrah! another lefty Stick player. The whole thing is, infact, left handed!!! (wierd lot, us lefties..)

There are some samples of his album to listen to.. very new-age and quite pleasant.. ("..but is it art?")

Seen it before. I thought it looked silly then and I haven't modified that opinion.

Oh, and I recall that years ago Francis Dunnery of It Bites (http://www.itbites.com/) had some enormous multi-stringed thing on a stand that he used to play live on stage.

Not quite as mad as this String Station thing, though.

People love looking at weird or ugly stuff... I guess the StringStation is sort of like a car accident - in more than one way.
