What made it's way onto all the guitar and gizmo related blogs this week? The little yellow Pac Man shaped guitar.

"Dave "Timely" Winer of the Howards and the Baltimores requested this piece. He called my bluff after I replied, "Not only can I build it, I can make the headstock blink as well!""

This Specimen Custom made guitar features:

• 25-1/2" scale length with two octave maple neck

• Double black-bound body made of basswood and finished in yellow cellulose lacquer

• Twelve blinking light bulbs nestled beneath translucent white acrylic on headstock

• Ebony fretboard

• Three large round mother-of-pearl fretboard markers

• Traditional vintage-style tremolo bridge

• Two single-coil pickups with yellow covers

• Geared banjo tuners

• One control each for volume and tone

Cost: $5600
