I think the EL34's sounds a little thin. I heard that the 6550's put out a thicker tone. A friend told me that installing the 65/50's would F%$# up my JCM800 and lower the value. Is this true?

First of all dipshit. The other forum thta was used previously has posts about all other kinds of goodies. Which led me to believe that it was the same forum, only altered. Now you dumb asshole, f*** you. You are no dwight listmayer. Dwight would know about switching tubes. If you don't have any input, then shut the f*** up.

It's gettin'
It's gettin'
It's gettin' kinda heavy

I'VE GOT THE POWER!

OK, I've snapped out of it. This question can be answered. Look to the charmingly titled "This board sucks" thread for a re-direct, or ask here. I have my own ops (EL34 usually better, 6550 may suit particular tastes, doesn't alter value and is reversible). Try some Coolio, though.

Yep, sensible enquiries only. References to dumb Limeys with no knowledge of Marshalls... I think I'll pass, too. The time diff can be a bit of a hit. BTW, done the dentist today elec-im. I'm as clean as a Hiwatt with a MosFet retro-fit, but I've been told to stop smoking. Gaah. Sad
