Hi, I've just got given an Epiphone EA-260, The one I have has no guts (it was free) Can anyone tell me what kinda pickups should be in it?? I need all the parts! Thanks

At first, I assumed they'd be either the Sidewinder neck or the bridge pups as found on the Gibson EB3. A quick look at EA260s on ebay, though, got rid of that idea. Although those basses were made in Japan, the pups remind me very much of Hofner basses like the Senator. If you see these pups on offer on ebay (Í'm sure I saw one recently) you could ask for dimensions to see if they fit.
