18:06 and still sunny. This is of no big deal to the Antipodeans, so I'm just gloating at the Brits. Back tomorrow, though Sad

Yep, I came out of Nottingham airport (of all places) and Mrs Bass was renamed "Dances With Brolly" on account of her laughable attempts to walk to the car park in a straight line and stay dry.

BTW, EMA airport has a new line in "courtesy" buses. Having paid £60 for less than a fortnight, I asked if the bus could take us over to #4 car park. "We don't go there. It's just past the departure building and straight ahead blah blah blah"

I know where the fricking car park is and, treehugging greenie that I'm not, I wanted to be taken the 800yds with my 8y.o. kid, fashionchav Mrs and gazillion suitcases without running the gauntlet of sideways hailstones. The arses.

Laughing Consider it good exercise.

If it's any consolation, the weather in Brisbane has been a little wet. However, you won't find anyone complaining. They want to stick us on recycled sewage drinking water if our drought doesn't end.

I'm no greenie either when it comes to drinking recycled turd.

I know, Mike. That was possibly one of the more revolting spam-posts I've ever deleted. BTW, is that a tongue-piercing you have? The DV-cam was a bit grainy.
