Eden Electronics is now shipping the long-awaited upgrade to its World Tour 800 integrated bass amplifier. The new WT800B version includes a more powerful amplifier section and significantly improved cooling system.
The WT800B features a 6-device amplifier design and a new PCB (printed circuit board). Power specifications have been increased to 300 Watts per channel at 8O (Ohms) and 495 Watts per channel at 4O. In bridged mode, the new model delivers 880 Watts at 8O and a massive 1100 Watts at 4O.
In addition to the power increase, the WT800B features several improvements to the cooling system. These improvements have resulted in a significant increase in cooling efficiency.
