Something I've been trying to do recently with very little success (Iwanted to record it acoustic, what's the point of recording the Pup?), sounds like this guy might have it nailed and I figured there's probably others with the same problem:

I havenīt recorded with my EAB, but I used a kick-drum mike on my 2x10" cab, then switched to a SH55 "Good Morning Vietnam Doo-wap" style mic. Worked for me.
