I didn't upload the audio but that's some quality hardware (well, the Warwick tuners anyway). Great find.

The stress on that softwood must be at critical level, did anyone upload the AVI file?

I dont think you will actually be saving money, 2x2 timber costs a fortune these days, as for the Warwick tuners, and the 2 strings.. and it sounds like shite.

Played the audioclip. Shocked , that's some reverb from the plastic jerry can. Not exactly the tone I'm after. I think those box basses our man Bogden (sp?) publicized here are a better bet.
