I have a prinz that I may want to sell
i need help in figuring out how much it may be worth and what year it was from.
It is in almost perfect condition and i have read that their are not many around.
I seen a couple sell on ebay recenty and the prices vary much.

Hi APaulO13,
I can't tell you exactly when your guitar was made, but I can tell you it was modeled after the guitar Prince played in "Purple Rain". I think Purple Rain came out in 1984 and I know the Prinz model appears in the 1986 Hohner catalog. I'm not sure when they stopped making the Prinz, but I can tell you it still appears in the 90-91 Hohner catalog.
I think you'll be pretty safe claiming "late 1980's" in a For Sale description.
eBay is probably your best source for determining the guitar's current value. sb |
