Another great spot, myfoot. The auction's stopped, and I quote:

The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing

Shocked You ain't kidding, eBay. I don't know where to start. Look at the descn:
Quote:
THIS AMP IS A JCM 800 LEAD SERIES.THE BACK HAS MK2 MASTER MODEL 100 WATT LEAD.MODEL 2203.THE AMP SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION,I HAVE NOT PLUGED IN DUE TO NOT KNOWING MUCH ABOUT THE AMP.THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SPOTS WHERE IT APPEARS TO HAVE HAD SOMETHING THERE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.THEN I BELIEVE IT WOULD PROBLY WORK,THE WIRES ALL SEEM TO BE INTACKED BUT JUST NEED TO BE COMPLETED.THIS AMP HAS A FEW ROUGH SPOTS ON THE EXTEROR,BUT NOTHING THAT WOULD EFFECT THE PERFORMANCE.ALL THE TUBES LOOK GOOD.IF NOTHING ELSE IT HAS ALOT OF GOOD EXSPENSIVE PART IN IT.THIS IS THE REAL DEAL IN AMPS.I WILL TAKE EXTRA CARE IN PACKING THIS AMP TUBES AND ALL,AND IM OPEN TO ANY IDEAS YOU MIGHT HAVE AND ANY QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME.THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK

Rule #1 on eBay. If the syntax reads well but the spelling is atrocious there is a 99% certainty that the seller knows this is a load of poop. It's a getout clause of the "I don't know much about amps, sold in good faith" variety. I mean, "pluged in", "the wires seem to be intacked" etc - I ask you Rolling Eyes I wouldn't touch this basketcase above $300 even as a project. The seller knows this, too.

I once had a 'My First Electronic Kit', which had to push coloured wires into little springs...I'm sure those are the very wires!

I know the now legendary Music Outlet Shop seem to mark everything up in price, but 450 quid for a Vox Clubman, which was a very basic plyboard-bodied entry-level guitar, is absolutely ridiculous.

I used to have one of these (although with a different-shaped headstock) and it wasn't much of a player until I converted it to fretless, and then it was a kind of specialised guitar. I used to play it with EBow. Here are the before and after pics:

They all look like firewood to me, i look at them, and i look at my log burner and a box of matches, i cant see the appeal in something that looks about as inspiring as Tony Blair with his Strat, is built from wood shavings and old bomb shelter doors, and plays like a donkey.

Back when I was taking far too long restoring a WEM Rapier lefty bass for my mate Arni, I did let a Vox Clubman (lefty) bass slip past me for just over £60. I think it looked like this:

Plank or not, I kicked myself for not getting such a rare oddity for my cack-handed collecting chum. Can't have been many about.

I saw a girl wandering down the street in Oxford with one of those recently. I really wanted to ask her where she got it from.

Have you seen the reviews for these on Harmony Central? Seems some people really rate the sound.

The neck would take a whole 30 mins to burn down, the body would take a lot less and generate less heat.
Consider yourself £60 richer when this one went past the window.
