Exactly. Not even what I call a decent English accent. At least, not the Jeremy Irons sort of class that ought to have American ladies wishing you'd give them a "pearl necklace". Jamie is just estuary mouth.

Laughing Why the hell did you give up your journo career? you do come up with some classic one liners, i think he was about 40 miles from the estuary, didnt he come from Chelmsford? or Chumpsford as the locals call it.

If I had the choice to place the newborn Jamie Oliver within 40 miles of the estuary, I would probably have plumped for German Bight. Bet the bugger can swim, though.

1BL....it may well be your regular 'BBC' postings which attract certain ladies...Accidental visits to 'interesting' sites suggest that the 'British Broadcasting Whatever' isn't the only thingy for this accronym jobbie...
