I bought my Flying V second hand from a dodgy pawn shop...

It had both Gibson and Epiphone written on the headstock, its made in Korea and the serial number is 1060327.

As far as I can tell this means its made after the 70s, but I am trying to get a more accurate date.

Do Epiphone serials have a way to decode them to tell which year they are from?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it says both Gibson and Epiphone it'll be an Epiphone (sorry...) also 'The Guitar Dater Project' recognises your serial for Epi but not Gibson
