I like the way he has used a perplex scratchplate so that you can see the whole design, very nice touch.

Thought i'd get the first one in for 2009.

OK, so you want to hand build a guitar, you go trough a lot of time and effort sourcing materials, but which guitar do you want to mimick?
Strat? ...no

Les Paul? ... no

Some kind of gibson? jusy to give it a bit of class?

nope,

How about this:

This one I call "Toddler wrestles with a balloon whilst a goose attacks from behind".

Love the custard toddler goose guitar, glw. This one is headstockless so "headless chicken" is my suggested brandname if it ever "takes off" (great pun ,eh?)

Shocked

That is just truly, truly wrong...the curves get fat in the middle and have straight bits randomly and are in the wrong place anyway.

...and is that a knee rest 3inch behind the bridge...? and fore-arm cut also behind the bridge...

I expect to see this on my next work ergonomics course (as a 'bad', obviously) Can I vote now for the Halloweenie? Laughing

And what's with the dead-plaice pickup?!

EDIT: and he's trying to sell it as an 'Electric-Classical'...that'll attract exactly the nylon-twangers who will pick up on the dire centre of balance...lucky it's got that 'Kidney-hook' to keep it in place... Confused
