Jimmy, I'm an e-mate of Steve Russell, who runs the excellent vintage Hofner site, http://www.vintagehofner.co.uk/. I'll ask him to let me know if he hears of one going selling. Also, I'll put a Fleeb search on it and contact you. I can arrange for it to be shipped to you; I've done this loads of times for chums in Germany and the US.

I am in no position to make any offer at the current time. I bought another 1953 P Bass a month ago and am tapped out money wise. If you still have it in a couple of months let me know. By the way,I really know and understand the selling of old friends, I have had t do it many times.

Best to you and that great old Bass !!! Jimmy Lloyd Rea
