I ran across this bass at a yard sale. The guy that had it for sale said he had paid $200.00 dollars for this bass several years back. The body has some nicks in the paint. I bought this for my nephew, but I can not find the particular model # on any of the websites I have visited.

Can someone tell me something about this bass? Did I get ripped off by paying $50.00 for it?

Hey, welcome.

Is the bass an 'Aria' or an 'Aria Po II'?

Numbers can be a bit vague on these but I'd guess it was made in 80 or 88 from the serial number either way $50 sounds absolutely fine, I swear by my Aria Pro II (the one in my avatar!) Gigged all over with it.

For more info pictures are always useful, the whole guitar plus any bits where the numbers etc are found, but if you're just checking that you weren't ripped-off, I'd have paid $50 and I doubt you'd lose anything reselling.
