Hi all,

I purchased this epi online from a reputable vendor.
when i opened the box i was horrified to find the headstock had snapped and was now only clinging to the neck by the 'les paul standard' clip.

I should make some sarcastic remark about irony here but im bereft of wit in my current, deflated state.

Anyway... the serial code (10091510817) is unrecognised.

and i am now beginning to question whether i should not accept a replacement from said vendor.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Epiphone LP standard plus top vintage sunburst

I'd be sending those pics to Epiphone...it looks like either flawed raw materials, can happen to anyone but they need to know or a decent attempt at a fake...can happen to anyone but they need to know...Just my op, as you say the serial number isn't recognised anywhere I've tried either. Strange.
