I tend to use Photobucket to host pics on the forum, it's quick and easy and I've never had any problem with it.
http://photobucket.com/
- You need to create an account at the above site, this just requires an email address and the usual name/date of birth.
- Once joined there is an upload box at the top of the page where you can browse for the files on your PC. Once you choose these they are up loaded automatically.
- Your Photobucket album shows thumbnails of the images uploaded, clicking on a thumbnail will open a larger version of the picture.
- On this screen there is a box titled 'Image link code', for the forum simply click on the address in the 'IMG code' box. This address should copy automatically but if not simply press ctrl+c to copy it.
- There is no need to add the 'Img' tags in your forum post just paste (ctrl+v) the address straight in and you're done.
Personally I tend to try and make my pictures no wider than 800 pixels for forums as it just helps them sit better on the screen, this isn't essential though. |

That's a nice looking collection - I particularly like the look of your Gibson es-295 |

Thanks Jason, i found the gold (actually natural now) es-295 a while ago and then i came upon the sunburst just a couple months ago. I don't think to many sunburst exist as far as i can find out anyway. The gold top sounds better to me though. It may be something to do with the sunburst bridge and tailpiece having been switched sometime during it's long life.It is a 1953 and the goldtop is a 55.Now if i can find some original cases to put them in !
Regards,David |

Hi Everyone,
This is the first time i use a forum and actually opened a photobucket account to actually get help in knowing about my guitar and of course to share the pictures. I have searched everywhere and cant find anything...found a bit of similar guitars but they had no details or leads.
I bought my guitar back in 1998, 97 or 96. I cant remember exactly as it was a long time ago. I would appreciate anyones help and knowledge . Thank you in advance
Image links from photobucket...
ummm...im getting a general error everytime i try to paste the link and submit...help
My photobucket account is "rounddice" to view my guitar or if someone can upload a link as i cant |

I fixed up the images for you.
They were caught in the spam filter - they do usually get approved within a day, but it looks like we turned the spam settings up a bit too high and the system has deleted your account.
Very sorry about that - please re-register and we'll make some changes to prevent this from happening again. |
