| One day me and my buddy are in his basement recording our lil dual album which features me and him playing our own shit weve made up without drums or bass or vocals, but we did have extra mics set up for the interview we were going to have with JR. Grey, a band i roadied for. So the mics are on and were jammin out and recording live, not plugged into friggin machines i mean, basically goin through mics, and wed pause in between sessions and took a 12 minute piss break and left the mics on for about 3 minutes then wrote over the break with a quick heavy intro. So we finish the day and JR. Grey wraps up our final song with us. So the next day weve got friends over and the 12 minute break part is comin up, at which during recording my buddy and i walked away but left our guitars on, and we were talkin upstairs (sounds like a whisper on the cd) so i go "what the hell" and look at tom with the cunning look of "oph theyre gunna hate me" and he instantly catches on... i go "you guys here that?" they look at me like im crazy and go "what the hell are you talkin bout?" i go "just listen" and turn it up half way more, and my x gf is laughin at me like im insane, i go again "you guys seriously dont hear that?" and toms goes "i hear it" and instantly it all falls in, they try to hear it so they get close to the speaker (this is a 3x15 inch speaker mind you) and their ears are right next to the mesh, i look at tom and he turns the volume all the way up, they look at me and go "i dont hear it, your crazy" i go just listen, so they press their ears against the speaker again, just at that moment the write over starts in all heavy metal style and i kid you not, jim the kid on the floor seriously pissed himself, he ran out the door and wouldnt come back in. i know this is long, but these are the 2 that thought the basement where i recorded in was haunted, so they just want it to happen. i just thought id tell yall.
