Now i'm probably ruining any form of cred i was hanging onto here - but Wham's I'm Your Man and Wake me up before you go-go are both great songs. lets not get into specifics. My point is, no matter how great - I wouldn't sing em in a dark alley.

Personally, I wouldn't even whistle either of those tunes while being checked for emergency prostate trouble on a back-packing trek of Albania. What (I think) I'm saying is that I can think of better things.
I know it's his money vs mine, but I've never understood this "George Michael's a great songwriter" idea. But then, I used to sing Scritti Politti's "Absolute" down dark alleyways back in the 80s. I knew no fear.  |

Good for them. Incidentally, just got back from chez guitarist, who's gone all keen on Kaiser Chiefs. They've re-released "I predict a Riot" and he lurves it. I told him to check the lyrics. There's tongue in cheek, but then there's talking out of buttocks...

Words and lyrics are over rated, its the music that counts,
Those words were taken from the Zoom Bass 505 Mk ll Manual, in true carol vorderman style i took a line from the top, 1 from the 2nd and 3 from the bottom, i was going to put in 'FP02 Expression pedal $69.99 ' but i thought that was taking the piss.
As for Scritti Politti !! now your talking, Green was the best vocalist of the 80's and how about Prefab Sprout too? |

"better shape up, cause I need a man"
to say a heavy metal sound, it wouldn't be near as bad as Olivia Newton John? |
