i love the song they did where there were 3 people playing bass, all plodding along except the bass player, who had a double neck bass, but both necks were exactly the same.

I thought it was a 4+8 doubleneck.

If I remember rightly it was one of these BC Rich lads, whereby the necks LOOK the same at first sight, but one is carrying 8 strings, the octave strings having machine heads at the body end.

didnt Noel Redding used to play an 8 string? oh and have i mentioned i met him? shook his hand and got an autograph?? oh well.

Just wish BCR wouldn't use split pups in pairs. Anyhoo, my fave moment? The bass player trapped in the larval pod, just his arm sticking out.
