Im looking for a good amp to replace my 80 watt fender amp. I was thinking something along the line's of a crate or marshall half stack.

I don't like to dismiss a brand lightly, but I'm not overly impressed with Crate. My first thought was a Marshall 50W and a 4x12", although it is the obvious one. As Lee says, depends on what you want to play. I'll butt out and let the guitarists talk.

Please accept my apols in advance good people. I don't mean to nag, but this thread has 40 views and 2 replies. One of them from a lefty bass player - whaddafuque does 1bassleft know about good 1/2 stacks?

Has no proper player here tried a 1/2 stack? If you have, why not chime in and help someone out with your op? Gotta be more useful than mine, surely?
