Hi

Can someone help please.

Bought this Charvette by Charvel about 4 years ago very cheap from an ageing hippy who said he had the guitar for some time, one of a collection. Can anyone tell me when it was made approx and if it is worth much. Cream coloured guitar with Charvette by Charvel on Headstock. Metal plate on back of guitar is engraved Charvette by Charvel 9120202 P.O. Box 2344 Fort Worth, TX76113 USA. Has two protruding silver knobs, (tone and volume.) Pick up selector and 3 Charvel pick ups. Machine Heads have Charvel logo with what looks like the lettering GGOTOH.

Anybody got any ideas. reply to keith.eccleston@btopenworld.com

Thanks

Well, here's one up for sale:

Unlike say, Fender, people aren't very up on serial numbers for Charvel and whether this is pre or post Jackson takeover production. I'd just expect it to sell for around $400 regardless, but I'm certainly no expert. Gotoh are a good-quality, Japanese maker of hardware such as bridges and tuners, BTW.
