I cant get the springs to fit back in with the screws, and then screw in to the pickup. Im sure i know how to do it, it just seems impossible because you cant see whats going on underneath the scratchplate while screwing it - therfore i cant see whats happening, is there an easier way to do it?

Trying to remember what I ended up doing with my SG...? I think I did the pickup/spring/scratchplate screws first then screwed the plate on with the pick-ups already suspended under it, I think...

Yeah, screw the pickups to the scratchplate, and then drop the scratchplate in and screw that down.
