So the bottom of the bass looks like this:

(- O - )

Right?
So I was playing the guitar, and suddenly the jack came out with 2 rings. Also another one that was bigger and had about 8 teeth on it. So I unscrewed the bottom of the bass thing and looked inside. There was a piece that looked like this.

l------
l l----<This is where the jack goes in.
l------

And a wire was on the bottom of it and lead inside. How do I fix this and which order does the rings go back in?

Hey thekromeawl, not sure myself, but it may be worth your while asking on the guitar board as it has a much bigger population of people who should be able to help.

Cool Just tell me what kind of bass it is and where the jack is located and I am certain I can help you out. Sounds to me like it is a TELE Bass type of jack. If so, it is a easy fix.. Cool
