The article you are about to read is an account of the tragedy that befell the GuitarSite forum members. It is all the more tragic in that they were young (pushing it). But had they lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected, nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see in that fateful forum thread. For what began as a harmless discussion of Dave Gilmour’s supposedly longer left leg, would soon degenerate into an unthinkable nightmare.

The events of that thread would lead to the discovery of the most hideous and downright disgusting guitars in the annals of luthiering history. This is their story. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

If I actually had the opportunity to play this thing I would make sure that my pants, my shirt, my in ear headphones, my hat, and my shoes all had flames on them as well. The first song I would play would be called Ghost Rider's In The Sky. My friends, this occasion would be truly epic.
