TheAirtightGarage has introduced the Nora amplifier - a single channel 30W tone machine with dwell and reverb.
This amplifier was designed from the start to be a versatile unit capable of mood swings with the touch of
your fingers or the mild turn of a volume control (on the amp, or on your guitar).
The Nora control panel consists of a single input, volume, tone, dwell, reverb and hitme. The Hitme control
is a switched control knob which adds a smooth to wailing overdrive. An indicator light (a real live blacklight),
idle/run switch and on/off switch complete the front panel controls. Standard the Nora is loaded with a single
12" driver, and can be upgraded to a 2x12" configuration, or to a 1x15" unit (pictured). There are 4, 8 and
16ohm speaker ouputs for hooking the Nora up to an external cabinet, and as always, this unit is available in a
head format.
Tube configuration on the Nora is one 5AR4, two 6L6GC, two 12AX7A and one 12AY7. NOS tubes are available at
current market prices.
