Hi people...I have a guitar, which I'm interested in selling.

It started life as an Encore Strat, but very little of that remains (its just the body and neck, really).

It now has a set of Fender Tex-Mex strat pickups on a dark pearl pickguard. All the eletronics (pots etc) have been replaced with decent Fender ones, and locking tuning machines now adorn the headstock (though can't remember if they're Fender, Schaller or Gotoh).

Would anyone care to make a guess at what I could sell it for (in total, it cost about £220 to make, some while ago).

I think you've said it, that it's worth the value of the component parts. Whether you'll get that much for it is another matter altogether.

Sounds fair enough to me!

I'm sure I could...I'm good at talking things up on eBay...

I would get the guitar back to its original condition, and sell all the parts seperately on ebay, sell the pots and pickups still attached to the scratchplate.
