Recently moved to Canada from the UK. Took with me several guitars. My one acoustic/electric (Ibanez AEL 2012) with a B-Band preamp/pickup on board, plays fine when plugged into my Carlsbro 50w. lead amp (which I took with me ,being dual voltage etc.) However, I tried playing it through a Kustom sienna 65 acoustic amp yesterday , and ended up having to turn the volume up all the way to get any sort of output ! (we also tried a 35 watt version of the same amp ,just to make sure )The guy in the musicstore checked the output level of my guitar and said it was low ? Went home , plugged it into old faithfull(Carlsbro) and didn't even need 1/4 output to deafen everybody ? Is there possibly a difference in the way the preamp etc. works for european (ie. 240 volt circuitry) as opposed to the standard north american 120 volt setup ? Any tips/info most welcome. I really fancy the Kustom accoustic amp and am quiet desparate to find out whats up !
Thanks. Bo

This one takes two 'AA's , but yes we tried that. Totally stumped !!!! The musicscene here in Nova Scotia is alive and everybody and their dog appear to play one or more instruments. Been phoning around everybody I can think off .......alas......
By the way the Ibanez website is useless......I'll need to try it in somebodies lead amp , see if it only throws a wobbly if plugged into an accoustic amp ?

Bo, it sounds like the Kustom is a bit useless (unless it was the lead used). The wall voltage doesn't affect your guitar's output at all. Besides, I assume you're now using the Cbro on 115V anyway?
