- Press Release

Music Man’s unveils its perennial bass favorites; the StingRay, StingRay 5 and Sterling with multiple pickup options. Staples in the Music Man bass line, all three will be offered with the option of two humbuckers or a humbucker single combination. They will be introduced at the 2005 summer NAMM show in Indiana July 22-24, and available shortly thereafter.

“The multiple pickup format increases tonal capabilities and expands the bass for players that want a two pickup version. Players can count on the same body and neck design, only with new electronics,” explained Brian Ball of the Ernie Ball Company.

In other product updates to be shown at NAMM, lefties no longer will feel left-out, thanks to left handed models in the Music Man Bongo Bass and in the Luke, Steve Lukather’s signature guitar. Stan Sargeant, a member of the Tonight Show Band, is a proud owner of the new left-handed Bongo, recently showcased live on the program.
