Hi Lee,

I'll look into this for you to see what we can do. The problem is that the company, Advertising.com, which is supplying that advertisement does not give us control over individual campaigns that appear here in the discussion forum.

However you partly have your fellow Britons to blame- as you are from the UK where it went to Number 1 you are seeing it more often than our American friends who have had the good sense not to send it to the top of the Billboard charts Smile

I'll let you know if they will remove it for us, however I have a feeling their response may be something like "we'll remove it when England wins the Ashes".

Jason.

2 words to the great Aussie home of popular music... Kylie/Jason, you created them, we took them off your hands and made them famous, and we are still paying for it!! What a great Aussie export they were Laughing
PS Ashes are in the bag, or the Urn or whatever..

Does "Frog vs Axel F" qualify as an instrumental? If so, does that make it the first instrumental UK#1 since 1973īs "Theme From Van Der Valk"? Am I right in thinking Axel Fīs "Miami Vice" theme made #2 back in the 80s so we have a twenty year history of liking this darned tune? Have I become Paul Gambuccini and filled my head with useless facts on holiday?

EDIT: Obviously not. Axel F was that Beverly Hills Cop thing. MV was by Jan Hammer. Getting my brain fried in the sun. I couldīve sworn Axel F got to #2, though. Did it, or was it Jan Hammer? Any "British Hit Singles of the 1980s" book-owners out there?

All very confusing those 80s cop themes eh 1b Very Happy

I personally liked the theme to Hunter. Now he was a cop you could count on, even despite his receding hair-line.

Does Paul Hardcastles '19' qualify as an instrumental? that was a No1, also Telstar sputnik?, my dad knows the drummer from that band, the drummer retired to spain (where my pop is now also in retirement) on the procedes of drumming in a no1 single... what a racket! Laughing

At the time I'm posting this there are only 5 votes.... does anyone else want to have a say in whether or not we get rid of the Jamster audio banner?
