I HAVE a lyle acustic modle f550 how do i find the year of this series? it says it jap made ,its in great shape origanol case , need more info . cheers  |

| SB is a vintage expert - you can reach him by going to your Private Messages section from the top menu and sending a message to him using the username SB. He may not be able to help but I have seen some Lyle action on his website before. |

| Hey Wazo, I can't give you a definitive date but we can probably get close. I have a 1974 Lyle brochure on my website that lists a F-525 as the highest number in the series. I think it is reasonable to assume the F-550 followed within a year or two after that so I think we are safely talkin' mid 1970's for your instrument. SB |
