Martin Performing Artist Series Plus and GPCPA2

Martin Guitars is set to release four new models from their Performing Artist Series - GPCPA2, DCPA1 Plus, GPCPA1 Plus and OMCPA1 Plus.

DCPA1 Plus, GPCPA1 Plus and OMCPA1 Plus are the three new members of the PA1 Series, the GPCPA2 Mahogany is the new certified wood flagship model.

Martin's Performing Artist Series or PA1 models were introduced in 2010 and its combination of good construction and quality material made it a hit among acoustic guitar aficionados. The new 2012 "Plus" models will still have the same quality build and material while introducing upgraded electronics.

They will feature an enhanced version of the Fishman F1 Aura + "Easy Mode". This new pickup system is more user friendly with three pre-blended image/pickup presets for plug and play performance. These presets will help you program your own settings by giving you some working base parameters, and note that the programming and sophistication of the F1 Aura is retained. Subtle refinements and new fingerboard inlays will help you distinguish the new acoustic models.

Subtle refinements such as new tortoise color rosette design and back purling rounds up the new updated package.

The DCPA1 Plus, OMCPA1 Plus and GPCPA1 Plus models are expected to sell at around $2,999. The GPCPA2 Mahogany is priced at $2,499.
