Taylor continues its tradition of introducing fresh selections guitars with exotic tonewoods with this year's Spring 2012 Limited Edition models.

Hawaiian Koa is a popular pick for many players because of its great visuals and complex tonality. Koa is normally reserved for top end Taylor guitars, however Taylor sometimes acquire less figured Koa woods that still have tonal character. These Spring Limited Edition Koa guitars are not as extravagant as their expensive high end Taylor brothers, but they do have that "wow" factor at a relatively lower price point.

Hawaiian Koa Limited is available in steel string models - 310ce-LTD, 312ce-LTD, 314ce-LTD and 316ce-LTD. You can also get the nylon string versions - 312ce-N-LTD and 314ce-N-LTD. These guitars feature back and sides made of Hawaiian Koa, with a Sitka spruce top. All these models feature pearloid dot fretboard inlays, Venetian cutaway, a three-ring rosette, and ES electronics. Its unique setup and tuning is complimented well by Ovangkol's rich tonal range and clarity. Other features include ES electronics, Venetian cutaway, baritone bracing, a three-ring rosette and progressive dot fretboard inlays. This guitar is currently priced at $2,798.
