Breedlove creates Jeff Tweedy Ltd Edition acoustic

Jeff Tweedy came across his Breedlove Revival 000 acoustic purely by chancea and it soon become a stage and studio favorite. Now, a year on, Tweedy has teamed up with Breedlove to create a Limited Edition Revival 000 model.

Revival 000-12 Jeff Tweedy Limited Edition Prototype

Breedlove says they started by building a prototype instrument - a Revival Deluxe in Red Spruce and East Indian Rosewood, featuring a bee-themed headstock inlay and Gold Pearl Honeycomb position markers.

"We presented Jeff with this guitar on August 22, 2007, at the Wilco show in Portland, Oregon. Now that Jeff has spent some time with that guitar and provided us with feedback, we are ready to lock down specifications for the limited edition run" they say on their website.

"No more than twenty-five Deluxe versions will be built, along with an additional five "Exotic" versions built with Brazilian Rosewood. We will accept orders for this guitar until all 25 Deluxes and 5 Exotics are spoken for, or until March 31, 2008, whichever comes first."
