Cordoba partners with Donavon Frankenreiter to release it's first steel string guitar

Cordoba Guitars has partnered with famous surfer/musician Donavon Frankenreiter to release its first steel string guitar model: La Playa Travel SS. The ½ size cutaway travel guitar is designed for adventurous musicians to take on the road, and comes equipped with a 2band pickup, battery powered amp and tarpaulin-insulated gig bag.

Based on Cordoba’s original signature Donavon Frankenreiter nylon-string travel guitar, the new La Playa Travel SS features premium steel strings, a thinner neck and a radiused fretboard. With globetrotting in mind, the guitar is designed to survive the rough conditions of off-the-beaten-path travel with its convenient size and special tarpaulin-insulated gig bag patterned after surfboard travel bags. The entry-level price tag makes La Playa Travel SS the ideal addition to the amateur or traveling musician’s collection.
