Fender CD-60CE All-Mahogany Acoustic
Fender expands their Classic Design CD-60CE Acoustic Electric Guitar with a new all-mahogany body model.
The CD series was only available with a spruce top, now you can choose to have a mahogany top to achieve a warmer tonality.
The new CD-60CE all-mahogany comes with a cutaway and a built in preamp and pickup system. Fender also released a no-pickup all-mahogany model for the CD-60 series.
The new all-mahogany guitar will follow the same design and features as the regular CD-60BE, it comes in a Dreadnought Cutaway shape and have the same 20 fret Rosewood fretboard. It also features a Fishman Isys III Pickup System that comes with an active onboard preamp and tuner, just like the old models.

For added resonance and stability, the top adopts the same X bracing design as the other CD-60CE guitars, while the neck features a dual truss rod for stability.
Other features of the all-mahogany model includes a die-cast tuner, mother-of-pearl acrylic rosette design, a new compensated bridge design, white bridge pins with black dots, and a smaller (3mm) dot fingerboard inlays.
For its specs, the all-mahogany CD-60CE is surprisingly very affordable, currently retailing online for $269.99.
