Godin announces new Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambiance
Released at this past Winter NAMM show in Anaheim the new Godin Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambiance is truly an instrument to behold. It is the next generation of the electro/acoustic nylon string guitar and is the perfect match for classical or flamenco players that require amplified sound.
The new Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambiance nylon string, features a dual source preamp with feedback control and under saddle transducer, along with the state of the art custom Fishman electronics that allows the player to select between 4 blendable sound imaging mic settings. Selected via a 4-way switch, these sound imaging mic settings were specifically chosen to mirror the sounds of 4 high-end studio condenser microphones, including a Danish Pro Audio small diaphragm condenser mic, a Soundelux E47 large diaphragm condenser mic and two Schoeps CMC64G small diaphragm condenser mics.

Similarly to other Multiac Grand Concert models, the Ambiance's design unites a larger chambered mahogany body with a solid cedar top and a neck that joins the body at the twelfth fret. The 2" nut width is slightly larger than the standard Multiac and more typical of the classical tradition.
The Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambiance offers incredible nylon string sound as well as unparalleled comfort and playability. And, as with all of the models in the renowned Multiac series, the Ambiance is designed to be played in live and loud settings with virtually no feedback.
Price: $1795.00 US List / $1495.00 MAP (includes deluxe Gig bag)
