To Load new effect types or artist-made Bass TonePrints, you just have to hook up the amp to a computer via USB, or better yet you can “beam” your presets directly from your smartphone straight into the BG250 using the cool TonePrint App for iOS and Android. Since more and more artists are joining in to create their own effect types and presets, you can be assured that your library of useful tones will always be growing.
The amp also features TubeDrive and Bass Tone controls that you can use to shape your tone. You can get just about anything, from crispy slap tones, classic funk tones and even cranked-tube-like grunge tones for rock. It comes with a practical auxiliary input and headphone output for playback and rehearsals, and it has a balanced XLR output for quick and easy recording.
